Marko writes primarily science fiction and fantasy, his first genre love ever since his youth when he spent his allowance mostly on German SF pulp serials. In a far-ranging interview at The Verge, Kloos laid out the intriguing backdrop. His newest series is The Palladium Wars, a space opera trilogy which kicked off with Aftershocks last summer. In the past, he has been a soldier, bookseller, freight dock worker, and corporate IT administrator before he decided that he wasn't cut out for anything other than making stuff up for a living. Marko Kloos is the author of six books in the Frontlines military SF series, starting with Terms of Enlistment (2013) and Lines of Departure (2014).
